Left Hook was established in 1992 by professional boxer Enzo Giordano and amateur boxer Oner Avara as a centre providing boxing training for everyone; both for recreational and competitive boxers to train and compete. For men, women and youngsters wanting a new fitness regime or to learn the technical art of boxing.
Their commitment and dedication to the sport is evident. Highly respected by boxers, they have continuously broken boundaries and received recognition and acclaim for their center. Left Hook encompasses the philosophy of Boxing London but has taken it further, bringing boxing into the mainstream whilst still respecting the needs of serious boxers.
“ We are more concerned with the love and art of boxing than the high tech or superficial finishes that you find in corporate gyms. We are individual and unique in that people off the street can train and truly experience what a professional boxer does.” – Oner Avara
Oner and Enzo have created a balance and set the benchmark for other gyms to follow. Their center is outstanding and their vision is simple: To make boxing accessible to all, regardless of age, gender or background.
